Founded in 2009, KC Green Energy has helped both residential and commercial customers enjoy savings and hassle-free solar installations.
We are a local company located in Lancaster. We also have a new location in Cherry Hill to help serve even more customers. Being local means we understand the local sun and weather conditions for the most effective solar placement. We also know the appropriate local housing municipal laws and forms. We can take care of the details so you can have a solar system you’ll be thrilled with.
Nationally Recognized Solar Installation Expertise
In 2013, our lead system designer was awarded the Solar PV Installation Professional Certification from the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP). This is the most prestigious certification in our industry.
Getting this award involved a rigorous exam along with years of prequalified design experience, field experience, referrals and recommendations. The NABCEP is the most respected professional certification organization for renewable energy in the nation. A designation as a NABCEP PV Installation Professional is the most important certification in our industry.
Roofing Expertise
Many installers do not have adequate roofing experience and lack the knowledge to properly flash roof penetrations. Our parent company, Kautz Construction, has roots in the residential and commercial roofing industry dating back to 1973. As members of the NRCA (National Roofing Contractors Association), we inspect every roof before the job. We also provide a warranty for your roof under the solar panels, whether we installed the roof or not!
Our goal is to provide peace of mind to our customers. These systems will protect your roof and maintain the integrity of your home. When installed properly, a solar electric system will actually extend the life of your roof. The solar panels helps stop the degradation of your roof, which is caused by the sun’s UV rays.
Electrical Expertise
KC Green Energy solar electric systems are wired by our professional electricians.
Our electrical design team has extensive training in solar photovoltaic code compliance. We are not only a solar company but a residential and commercial electric business. From service upgrades to LED parking light fixtures and full house wiring, our electricians can complete your job.
